Historical Sites and Castles in Slovakia

The program of the trip focuses on getting to know and examination of fortresses, castles, chateaus, palaces and ancient ruins of fortifications, other constructions and of course, museums. At the excursions are provided expert explanations by the guides. There is more than 300 such historic gems found in Slovakia. It is impossible not to mention the largest castle in central Europe, the castle of Spish. All the fortresses, castles and palaces played out an important role in the past of our people and the country. They are monumental witnesses of the past, which rose from the know-how and the hands of the inhabitants of our small and beautiful country. Many of these were several times reconstructed and today house valuable exhibits and inventory. This unique adornment, composed into the magical nature, is an inseparable part of the environment of many a Slovak city.
