Tatra National Park (TANAP) - diverse flora and fauna with many endemic species

Tatra National Park (abbr. TANAP) is situated in North of Central Slovakia in the High Tatras. The National Park covers an area of 738 km2. The park offers 600 km of hiking trails and several ski resorts. A trip to Lomnicky peak by chair lift is among the most attractive adventures for tourists in the High Tatras. It reaches the differential height of 1,700 m and carries tourists to a height of 2,634 m above sea level in only a few minutes.

Zbojnicka hut - situated at the end of the Great Cold Valley (Velka Studena Dolina)

Velicka valley - notable for Velicke lake and adjacent waterfall

Velicka valley has five mountain lakes and Sliezsky dom mountain hotel to offer. It can be walked by green marked tourist trail.

Hrebienok - small tourist and ski resort in the Tatra Mountains

Hrebienok resort (1 285 m EASL) is the starting point for hikes to Small Cold Valley, Great Cold Valley as well as Slavkovsky Peak. To the resort belongs downhill ski trail which continues to Stary Smokovec village and cog wheel cableway driving between Hrebienok and Stary Smokovec.

Valley of Green lake - beautifull tourist trail to the Jastrabia rocky tower

Valley of Green lake is drawn along flow of Green creek with tourist trail ending at the Jahnaci peak. The Terrain of te valley is attractive for tourists, bikers, mountain-climbers and skiers.
