Itinerary

We have designed an introductory rock-climbing course that may be taken in the beautiful environment of the Polana Biosphere Reserve. This trip is suited for anyone who would like to get acquainted with the basics of this sport. Kalamarka is a unique andesite area of volcanic origin. It contains two main parts that are up to 30 m in height and provide an ideal terrain for beginners. Kalamarka is visited by Slovak and foreign rock-climbers in all seasons because of the south-east orientation of the rock walls.
