Great Cold Valley can be walked through by a blue-marked tourist trail starting from Tatranska Lomnica resort through Prielom saddle (2,288 m EASL) to Lysa Polana resort.
Small Cold Valley is a terraced valley 4.5 km long. Popular among hikers, climbers, and also ski alpinists. Tery's hut offers accommodation and other services to the visitors.
The hut lies 2,015 m EASL, a little above five Spis Mountain Lakes at the end of Small Cold Valley. Tery's hut, open all year round, keeps symbolic watch over this valley.
Hrebienok resort (1,285 m EASL) is the starting point for hikes to Small Cold Valley, Great Cold Valley, and Slavkovsky Peak. Downhill ski trail belongs to the resort and continues to Stary Smokovec village. A funicular drives between Hrebienok and Stary Smokovec during the whole tourist and skiing season.
Belianska Cave is a stalactite cave in the Slovak part of the Tatra mountains. It locates above Tatranska Kotlina settlement, Vysoke Tatry town. The entrance to the cave is at 890 m EASL.
