Lucky Spa

Spa History

Lucky Spa belongs among the oldest spas in Slovakia, first mentioned in 1712.
In 1761, the first stone building was raised over the mineral springs, which brought Lucky a real spa character.

In the 19th century, Lucky Spa became so popular that it compared to the most famous German, Italian, or English spa towns.
The development of the spa started after 1872. New villas and guest-houses appeared, and the original spa building was reconstructed.

The impact of the two World Wars stopped the development of the spa until 1946.
In the 1960s, a new development started, changing the whole appearance of the spa.

Natural Healing Resources

Thermal mineral water springs from a depth of 600 m at a temperature of 35 °C.
Natural healing water is used in internal and external balneotherapy.

Balneotherapy has an excellent effect in the treatment of digestive apparatus, women's organs, gynecological diseases, diseases of kidneys and urinary canal, oncological diseases, metabolism disorders, excretory system, and occupational diseases.

Drinking cures apply to treat gastrointestinal and disorders, gastric diseases, calcium-phosphate urinary stones, urinary tract infections, osteoporosis.

Water World – outdoor recreational and sitting pool with healing thermal mineral water (28 – 33 °C, 36 – 38 °C), indoor pool with healing mineral water with temperature 33 °C and 35 °C.
The pools have various attractions - countercurrent flow, water goblet, under surface lighting, massage jets, and water spouts.
Sauna World – the vital world offers a Finnish sauna, menthol sauna, Roman bath with natural inhalation essences, Kneipp’s bath, tepidarium, turbo shower, and shower-rain.
The new outdoor area has a Finnish sauna, cooling pool, and open-air Jacuzzi.

WELLNESS – in Dependance Liptov; Jacuzzi with saltwater, Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, cooling tub, salt cave.
