The Trek Hut to Hut Tour across Slovak Largest Mountain Range, the High Tatras
The High Tatras is the most magnificent mountain range and the most important center of tourism
and recreation in Slovakia. High peaks, 10 of them exceeding 2000 m in altitude, alternate with
picturesque valleys containing more than 110 shimmering glacial lakes. Each view from the top of
a Tatra peak leaves an unforgettable impression in the hearts of people. The silence of valleys
and basins, cold water of glacial lakes, silky shine of waterfalls and monumental peaks - that all
is the magical world of the High Tatras National Park. This trip is designed for people who enjoy
spending time in the mountains. Splendid views of Tatra peaks will be an inseparable part of the
day-hikes. Sunrises, sunsets and the evening atmosphere at the mountain chalets shall create
life-lasting memories. This trip is designed also for less advanced hikers. Most of the time,
the hikes will keep us on the Tatranska magistrala, a hiking trail that lines the foots of the
peaks and closely follows the upper forest border.
